I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the European Union Project DETECt (Detecting Transcultural Identity in European Popular Crime Narratives) at Université de Limoges (France). My focus is on the representation of ethnic minorities in contemporary European crime fiction. I am also a lecturer at the Euro-American Program of l’Institut d’études politiques de Paris where I teach courses on American minority literatures and Postmigration Studies.

I received my Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of California Santa Barbara. My research and teaching center on contemporary American and French literature and visual narratives, multiethnic literature, and (post)migration studies.
